Flower Hotels 2025 Staff Party & Awards Night – A Night to Remember

Sunday, March 16, 2025 – With the holiday madness behind us, the Flower Hotels crew got together for a well-earned night of fun, laughs, and appreciation at our annual Staff Party and Awards Night. Hosted at the Port Macquarie Racecourse, staff from all our venues—Beechwood Hotel, Birdrock Bar and Grill, Fernhill Tavern, Fredo Pub, Hastings Hotel, Lake Cathie Tavern, Little Shack, Long Flat Pub, Mercure Centro Port Macquarie, Settlers Inn, and Tacking Point Tavern—came together to let loose and celebrate.

This year’s theme? Las Vegas Casino Night—a chance to dress up, roll the dice, and enjoy a bit of glitz and glamour. The night kicked off with live tunes from Besty and Andy Funhouse Duo, getting people on the dance floor early. From there, it was all about good vibes with casino games like Roulette and Black Jack, a photo booth full of props, and an epic closing set by DJ Jimmy Laing, who kept the party going with his boom box, light up dance floor and a killer light show.

The Ferny team made another grand entrance—this time in yellow and gold tassels with pink feather headdresses, proving once again they know how to make an impression.

And of course, no party is complete without top-notch food. Char Bar delivered a Vegas-style feast that kept everyone fueled for the night.
