Nurses Week 2024

As the world gears up to celebrate International Midwives Day on May 5 and International Nurses Day on May 12, we are proud to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated nurses of Port Macquarie Base Hospital. Once again, we are offering nurses a 25% discount during the week at Settlers Inn Hotel, Tacking Point Tavern, Little Shack, Fernhill Tavern, Lake Cathie Tavern, Birdrock Bar & Grill, Hastings Hotel, Beechwood Hotel, and Long Flat Pub.

The highlight of the week long celebrations will be the morning tea awards presentation with the Director of Midwifery and Nursing on Friday May 10, with Nurse of the Year Award winners receiving additional Flower Hotel vouchers. The highly entertaining bed making competition also happens on Friday morning - it’s tough to get perfect hospital style corners at speed!
