Promotion: Win a trip for 2 to the NRL 2024 Magic Round in Brisbane

Time frame: Starts Friday April 12 2024 at 3pm   |   Ends Friday May 10 2024 at 8pm

Outline: Purchase a Carlton Dry or Great Northern between 3pm and 7pm daily to receive an entry ticket. Last Man Standing style final draw will be held on Friday May 10th.

Competition will run at Fernhill Tavern, Settlers Inn, Tacking Point Tavern, Lake Cathie Tavern, Hastings Hotel, Beechwood Hotel and Long Flat Pub.

How it works:

Weekly Draws

Each venue point of sale system will automatically print an entry ticket each time a customer buys a schooner of Carlton Dry, Carlton Dry 3.5, Great Northern Original or Great Northers Super Crisp between 3pm and 7pm every day of the competition duration.

Patrons fill in their name and phone number before putting the ticket in the entry barrel. Entry tickets must have been printed in the 7 days prior to the weekly draw.

A weekly draw will happen on Fridays at 7pm.

3 finalists will be drawn each week. They do not need to be onsite to win. Venue management will call the phone number on the entry ticket to notify the winner.

The barrel is emptied each Friday after the weekly draw.

The 3 finalists from each week will be invited to attend the Final Draw Event.

Weekly Draws will happen on the following dates:
Friday 19th April 2024
Friday 26th April 2024
Friday 3 May 2024
Friday 10 May 2024

Final Weekly Draw

The final weekly draw will occur on Friday 10th May 2024 at 7pm. It will be drawn from ticket entries submitted from 3pm Saturday 4th May to 7pm Friday 10th May. The difference between the Final Weekly Draw and the Weekly Draws is that the patron must be onsite at the venue in order to win. The winners (3) of the Final Weekly Draw will go into the Final Draw Event barrel.

Final Draw Event

The Final Draw Event to determine the winner of the major prize will happen 8pm on Friday 10th May at each participating venue.

There will be 12 finalists in total (3 finalists from each of the Weekly Draws, as well as 3 finalists from the Final Weekly Draw). Each finalist will receive 3 CUB drink tickets.

The draw will be ‘last man standing’ style with the final name drawn from the barrel deemed as the overall winner.

Prize can not be redeemed, refunded or substituted for cash.

Major Prize

The major prize consists of the following:

Gold Pass tickets to all Magic Round games for 2 people.

3 nights shared accommodation at the Sebel Brisbane for 2 people.

2 seats at the exclusive Flower Hotels lunch on Saturday May 18th hosted by Anthony Maroon and Mitchell Pearce.

Exclusions

Flower Hotels staff, their immediate family and household members are not eligible to enter this competition.

Tickets will print daily but may be interrupted by unforeseen circumstances such as printer failure or blackout.
